Psychiatrist

The employee serves as a psychiatrist and is assigned to the Mental Health Clinic (MHC) at the Sevierville Outpatient Clinic.
Employee provides comprehensive clinical services to Veterans and their families within the MHC.
The employee will perform general psychiatric assessment and treatment in a multi-disciplinary setting composed of psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatric social workers, and primary cares services.
The employee will work closely with his/her colleagues to provide comprehensive, state-of-the-art mental health care.
As many of these patients suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, experience and competence in treating this type of condition is desirable.
The employee shall work under the direction of the Knoxville Mental Health Director.
Routine work is performed with a minimum of supervision.
Employee will be required to perform duties on his/her own initiative.
As a psychiatrist with the MHC, the employee will operate in a manner promoting success in all applicable performance measures and ensuring compliance with all applicable accreditation standards.
The employee shall act in a thoroughly professional manner at all times.
He/she shall work in harmony with other members of the professional and technical staff.
Tact and courtesy are mandatory when interacting with patients and staff.
The position will generate different options day to day and will be an exciting opportunity for a Psychiatrist looking for flexible roles within a VA structure.
Work Schedule:
40 hours per week Monday - Friday 07:
45 to 4:
30 p.
m.
however alternate or extended tours could be negotiated, interest in such may be discussed during the interview process.
Relocation Expenses:
Relocation expenses are not authorized for this position.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
