We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Accountant to join our team.
As a Project Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our projects along with the general bookkeeping across our various companies.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong accounting skills and a passion for financial analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Attend weekly all-company meeting - Perform dialy bookkeeping as needed - Prepare and analyze financial reports for assigned projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements - Monitor project budgets, expenses, and revenue recognition - Monitor project expenses and ensure they stay within budget constraints - Manage billing and invoicing, working with cutomers and vendors - Conduct account analysis and reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data - Collaborate with project managers to provide financial insights and support decision-making - Assist in the preparation of project budgets and forecasts - Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations Skills:
- 3 years experience in a similar position or a bachelor's degree / professional certificate - Strong understanding of debits, credits, and general accounting principles - Previous experience in public accounting or corporate accounting preferred - Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements - Proficient in budgeting and financial analysis - Excellent financial acumen with the ability to interpret and analyze financial data - Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks Online, and other accounting tools - The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines - Love to be part of a culture of high accountability with driven peers - Must love to learn and have a desire to help other people win.
This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation.
